Both objectives are very much on the agenda for the fourth annual Human Rights Film Festival, which the Jayu team presents at the Bloor this month. The program opens on Dec. 10 with the Canadian premiere of Coming Home, a recent documentary about an American man trying to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family after spending 13 years incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit. Indeed, Viko Nikci’s film includes the ex-con’s on-camera confrontation with the real perpetrator. The director participates in a Q&A after the 6:15 p.m. screening
