Actress Priyanka Chopra is now associated with a noble cause. She was signed in as a brand ambassador by tourism department of Assam to promote tourism of Assam under the theme of ‘Awesome Assam’. Assam tourism minister Himanta Biswa Sarma talking about the development said, ““We have signed an agreement with Priyanka and she is engaged as the brand ambassador of the state tourism. We have chosen her as she is best for the moment. The agreement is for two years”. Sarma said that Priyanka will not charge anything for the assignment except for the professional charges for the work she will do, which includes photo shoot and the television commercials.
