Industry Fumes At Nihalani's Comment On Illegal Uncertified Film Screening At Foreign Festivals

Pahlaj Nihalani has yet again stirred up the hornet's nest. This time over the trend of Indian directors/producers sending over uncertified movies without the I&B ministry clearance to the international film festivals. In an interview to TOI, Nihalani insists that producers/directors are bypassing the customs norms and exporting films abroad to festivals and even earning foreign currency without keeping the government in the loop. However, those frequenting international festivals insist that this isn't illegal.
