Experts, eco-scholars conduct annual water bird census

KANPUR: To count the number of migratory and local birds in the Yamuna river in Farah area of Mathura, ornithologists and a group of Yamuna eco-scholars participated in the four km long march on the occasion of World Wetland Day, on Sunday. World Wetland day is observed on February 2 every year.

The event was organized with the help of ministry of forest and environment and PEACE institute charitable trust, a Delhi based NGO, and Guru Gargacharya Yamuna Jan Kalyan Samiti Gadaya, Mathura.
