It’s a glittering champagne evening and dinner, with the highlight of a starry auction. Zarine Screwvala has put together a swish charity event at Palladium hotel on April 10, which will have the sparkling participation of celebrities and fashion houses.

To raise funds for her foundation Swades, that works towards rural empowerment, Zarina thought up the idea of the charity auctions that puts on the block front row seats to fashion events like the Dior cruise show, the Pucci fashion Show. Hosted by Karan Johar and with Amitabh Bachchan as chief guest, the event will also offer a host of intimate interactions with Bollywood’s biggest stars. “It has been humbling to encounter the generosity of the people – from the actors, to the luxury people and the artists. The idea was to offer experiences that money can’t buy. People like Laudomia Pucci, who I have never met, have gone out of their way to help Swades.
