Freida Pinto Is The Youngest Indian To Join The Academy

Freida Pinto who is quite well recognised in the international movie circuit, is the youngest Indian to become the member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is the world's prominent movie-related organisation. It also conducts the Oscars. Apart from Freida, several international stars have also been appointed member. Reportedly, this honour is to acknowledge the actress's work globally and also for the social work that Freida is involved in for the empowerment and education of the girl child.
