Actress Tamannah Bhatia, who has been roped in as the brand ambassador for BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO campaign, not only supports women empowerment but also feels that there is a need to create awareness about educating girl child.Currently busy shooting for her upcoming Tamil movie ‘Dharma Durai’ and sequel to ‘Baahubali: The Beginning,  the actress has taken time out for the welfare of girl empowerment by associating with the campaign, an initiative of Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI).  “I’m glad that I can contribute to the national initiative of #betibachaobetipadhao by being FOGSI’s brand ambassador.  Girl education is a serious issue in our country, and it needs the maximum awareness possible. Being a girl, I feel proud that I got this chance to contribute to encouraging woman empowerment and fight against the injustice prevailing towards them.  I am hoping that my contribution would help us to eradicate this issue and make our country a better place to live,” she said.
