She Came, She Acted, She Conquered

“ITI Bratyo Katha”, multilingual, a theatrical montage that captures the whole gamut of emotions through arresting visual imagery. It was part of Bharat Rang Mahotsav. Presented by Kheyalkhola, Hoogly, West Bengal, it is in the format of monologue rendered by a highly sensitive and versatile actress, KalpanaBarua. It illustrates that the theatre is truly actor’s medium.

Written and directed by SougataChattopadhyay, Kalpana enacts a number of vital episodes from classics which are intricately linked with various aspects of life – birth, death, faith, distrust, human destiny and man's relationship with nature in its myriad moods. The whole production appears to be a fine painting on the canvas pulsating with life.
