National Charity League Inc., Conejo Valley Chapter rolled out the red carpet for its 44th annual Day of Giving and Modelette Fashion Show on March 8 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza. The fundraiser featured boutique shopping, silent auction, activities, refreshments and the fashion show. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the 21 local charities the chapter supports and to provide scholarships for high school seniors. Modelette is a public speaking and modeling presentation put on by the 10th and 12th grade girls, the Ticktockers. This year, proceeds from Modelette will go to the Thousand Oaks-based Cancer Support Community/Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara. The 2015 Modelette participants were:
