Ranchi: Mobile Course To Train 40k Health Workers In Maternaland Child Healthcare

More than 40,000 health workers in the state are set to be trained in maternal and child healthcare through voice messages on their cell phones. Come February, the Jharkhand government will launch a mobile academy, funded by the Union health ministry, to provide refresher courses to the state's accredited social health activists (ASHA) in maternal and child healthcare and institutional delivery through recorded audio messages.
