The U2 front man and known philanthropist surprised the audience at Broadway's "Eclipsed" show on Saturday when he joined Lupita Nyong'o onstage to raise awareness about 219 missing schoolgirls who were abducted in Nigeria two years ago.
"It goes without saying if they were American girls or Irish girls we'd get a daily report on how they are doing," Bono told the crowd. "Well, they're not out of the news tonight and we want that daily report."
