But often we are much bothered by their bountiful presence and the icky shitting habits. So, they have tried to adopt measures that can control their population but in a non-violent way. Yes, authorities in Barcelona have decided to use contraceptives!
Pigeons are present in the historical city in large numbers and to control their growing numbers the authorities had been culling them. Killing of these innocent avian creatures has irked many animal right activists and the decision to use pills certainly have them cheering.
