Brian Tellis, Director, Fountainhead Promotions & Events Pvt Ltd, a Dentsu Aegis Network company, began his session by exclaiming, ‘Passion to Profession’. He went on to discuss the various sources that he draws inspiration from - singing in a band to express his love for music; the role of team building in sports; and quenching the thirst for travel by working for an airline company. While interacting with the aspirants, the importance of staying true to one’s values was also emphasised upon, as he cited, “Set your value chain in place. Longer than the cleverness of ideation, longer than virtues, it is your values that will keep you focused.”

Brian Tellis subsequently listed the session’s key takeaways. The first was going on a journey of discovery, in order to discover one’s passion; subsequently making time for one’s passion; learning to chase positivity while accepting failure; defining the terms of your life; staying a student for life, and never losing the hunger for success and achievement. The last and the most important lesson was to enjoy the journey. For as Brian Tellis advised, “Spend time learning about yourself in order to keep your beliefs and your passion alive. Figure out who it is you are.”

The session ended with a round of thunderous applause as the students expressed their gratitude for the life lessons shared by the guest. As promised at the start of the session, Brian Tellis became the first guest to be featured on the official WWI podcast live on www.whistlesandechoes.com.
