2016 Dallas International Film Festival Drops Full Lineup

The 10th edition of the festival, which kicks off on April 14, will include 113 films, eight world premieres, and a handful of awards for filmmakers. The Dallas Star Award will go to cinematographer Ed Lachman, who was behind the camera on gems like Far From Heaven and Virgin Suicides, as well as last year’s Carol. The inaugural L.M. Kit Carson Maverick Award will be given to The Shooting and Two-Lane Blacktop director Monte Hellman, who recently returned to feature filmmaking with 2010’s Road to Nowhere.
