Mira Nair To Donate 'Queen Of Katwe' Money To Mumbai Street Children

When Mira Nair's 'Salaam¬ Bombay' released in 1988, the proceeds from the film was used to establish a trust to cater to the needs of street children. With Nair's 'Queen of Katwe' up for release, Disney India, the film studio backing the film, will host a charity premiere in Delhi this evening to raise funds for the cause.

Salaam Baalak Trust (SBT) was established to cater to the needs of street children. With Nair's latest film up for theatrical release, Disney India and the director have organised a premiere today evening in the National Capital to raise funds for the trust.
