Expectant Government Launches 'Mahila-E-Haat' To Encourage Women Entrepreneurship

Today, 8th March, is International Women’s Day and what could be a better day to flag off some women-centric initiatives in India. After all, women are at par with men in every sector and can provide their skillsets in multiple situations.The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched a web portal ‘Mahila E-haat’ to promote women entrepreneurs in India. The website will allow women to sell their products online without any extra costs. The website was inaugurated by Maneka Gandhi, Women and Child Development Minister, on 7th March 2016, to cater to women entrepreneurs.
