A new charity single is available now to download on iTunes to raise funds for Save the Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal. ‘Look into Your Heart’ features soul singer Beverley Knight as lead vocalist and Rolling Stones legends Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood on backing vocals and guitar respectively. The single, which was produced by Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, written by songwriter Matt Clifford and recorded at Abbey Road studios, also features a 100 person choir made up of Save the Children supporters who all bid for this once in a lifetime chance to sing alongside rock and soul legends at a Save the Children charity auction. All artists and music partners including Horus Music and Specific Music donated their time for free. Mick’s fellow Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood says: “I am delighted that this recording made by us for Save the Children will help with the Nepal Appeal.” Lead vocalist on the single, Beverley Knight says: “The terrible events in Nepal show just how vulnerable our fellow man can be in the face of nature. My hope is that the proceeds of this song will go some way to help raise urgently needed funds to repair homes and restore lives.”
