The 12th Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon was held in the city early Sunday morning. Athletes and amateur runners strapped on their shoes and hit the Mumbai streets running. While Ethiopian runners ruled the roost, finishing with a bag full of medals, Indian runners weren’t left too far behind. Bollywood’s biggest stars were also seen cheering the runners and some brave hearts joined them in their race against the clock. Actor John Abraham, who is the face of the marathon, was present on the stands cheering for the athletes RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan was also seen sweating it out at the marathon on Sunday morning.
