All Hail The Japanese Film Festival

There are a lot reasons to celebrate the Japanese Film Festival. Co-presented with access cinema, the JFF is among the few that takes place throughout the country. They are not just bringing films to Dublin. They are bringing them to Sligo, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Dundalk and Waterford. You are never too far away from a Japanese movie in mid Spring. Indeed, the event has already begun with screenings in Cork, Limerick and Sligo. The JFF is now working its way towards 2017, when Ireland and Japan celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations. There’s history to be explained there. There is friendship to be celebrated. Here are five films to look out for.
