Hope of new treatment for Malaria

Scientists have identified a new method to stop malaria parasites from multiplying, paving the way for new treatments for the disease.

Researchers found that blocking the activity of an enzyme called NMT in the most common malaria parasite prevents mice from showing symptoms and extends their lifespan. Read more here
