More Efforts Needed To Safeguard Child Rights'

The first workshop on New Juvenile Justice Act 2015, was held in Jaipur on Saturday, which laid emphasis on health and education of children.

Directorate of Child Welfare director Hansa Singh Deo said that since the new JJ Act has become effective in the state, our department will organise series of workshops in the state for all the stakeholders of JJ Act including police, district child lines, social organisations and child welfare committee office bearers. The workshops will be organised in several districts of Jaipur division including Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Sikar and Jhunjhunu.
