There was definitely a glimpse of revolution on Indian Television in 2017. Problems were being addressed, whether it was youngsters participating in politics in Nimki Mukhiya and Saam Daam Dand Bhed or a woman championing the rights of women in Laado 2 – Veerpur Ki Mardani. This year Indian Television has turned away from the regressive mediocre stuff and have given some amazing stories that actually make an impact. While The Talwars is a fact-based show; the TED Talks India Nayi Soch brings to us inspiring real-life stories. A fact-based show it’s about The Noida double murder case referring to the unsolved murders of 13-year-old girl Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj Banjade, a live-in domestic worker, employed by her family in Noida.
