YEAR ENDER 2017

There was definitely a glimpse of revolution on Indian Television in 2017. Problems were being addressed, whether it was youngsters participating in politics in Nimki Mukhiya and Saam Daam Dand Bhed or a woman championing the rights of women in Laado 2 – Veerpur Ki Mardani. This year Indian Television has turned away from the regressive mediocre stuff and have given some amazing stories that actually make an impact. While The Talwars is a fact-based show; the TED Talks India Nayi Soch brings to us inspiring real-life stories. Set in the midst of the medical world, Savitri Devi College and Hospital is the journey of Saachi. After clinching her dream internship, Saachi meets the two men who will turn her world upside down.

7. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma

One of the longest running shows, the residents of a housing society help each other find solutions when they face common real-life challenges and get involved in sticky situations.

The Voot Originals Time--Out has everything that resonates when you hit the magical age 30. The plot revolves around the lives of Rahul, a yound lad with a 'seemingly' perfect life and his soul mate Radhika and echos the sentiments of youth with arrant clarity and gives a slight poke to the conscience.

A fact-based show it’s about The Noida double murder case referring to the unsolved murders of 13-year-old girl Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj Banjade, a live-in domestic worker, employed by her family in Noida.
