8-Day Kashmir Folk Theatre Festival Starts At Tagore Hall

“The highlight of today’s programme was scintillating performances by artistes of National Bhand Theatre, Wathura, AlamdarBhagat Theatre, Anantnag, and KaramBuland Theatre, Chadoora,” J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages on Tuesday started eight-day Kashmir folk theatre festival at Tagore Hall. During the festival, prominent folk artistes of Kashmir will perform distinguished specimen of local folk dance and music including BhandPaether, Dhamali and Chhakri. The inaugural programme was launched by noted artist Muhammed Khalil Bhat.
