Adelaide Film Festival Returns For 2017 And 2018, Adds Hybrid World Adl

Exciting news South Australia film fans: ADL Film Fest will be presented in full for 2017 and 2018. There had previously been a 24 month wait between festivals. It will run this year from 5-15 October this year. The festival confirmed that the 2018 event will be a full festival, including a funding round of $1m for the ADL Film Fest Fund, will run again in October 2018. The fund has previously kickstarted films like 52 Tuesdays, Girl Asleep, Samson & Delilah, Snowtown, Mrs Carey’s Concert and Look Both Ways. The previous ADL Film Festival took place in 2015. The organisers have also announced a brand new event, Hybrid World Adelaide. Hybrid World Adelaide will run alongside the ADL Film Fest in October, presenting a tech related public and industry events for the digitally savvy through to the curious onlooker.
