Amitabh Bachchan was appointed as the brand ambassador for the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India initiative. In this unique 12-hour Cleanathon campaign, the aim is to create awareness about the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation and raise funds to build toilets. The veteran actor had picked up the broom, and cleaned the neighbourhood in which he lives. Priyanka Chopra, who was nominated by PM Narendra Modi for the Swachh Bharat challenge, has also taken part in the initiative.The actress takes a selfie with NDTV head Prannoy Roy and UTV head Ronnie Screwvala. Govinda performs on a medley of Big B’s popular dialogues and songs, as a tribute to the veteran actor.Tevar co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha lent their support and commitment to build 10 toilets each. Actors Boman Irani and Cyrus Broacha do their bit and lend support.
