Walter White – played by Bryan Cranston in the AMC drama – was laid to rest at a ‘funeral’ ceremony in Albuquerque on Saturday (October 19), where the show was set and filmed.

The funeral included a procession led by a hearse, and White’s iconic RV.

Around 200 people attended, throwing dirt across the empty coffin which was placed in a real grave with a headstone.

Breaking Bad’s set decorator Michael Flowers delivered the eulogy to the crowd, prompting cheers in celebration.

The event was held as a fundraiser for Albuquerque’s Healthcare for the Homeless charity group. Nearly $17,000 (£10,510) was raised, according to local TV station KOB.
