Singer Christina Aguilera helped to raise $37 million (£23.1 million) for charity last year (13). The Beautiful hit maker partnered with Yum! Brands as the World Food Program me Ambassador Against Hunger in 2013. Through her partnership with the food company, she helped to raise awareness for starving populations throughout the world. A press release from Yum! Brands CEO, reads, “I’m inspired and proud of our employees, franchisees and their families who have raised record-breaking funds and food donations and volunteered in their local communities toward hunger relief. “With the help of our global spokesperson Christina Aguilera lending her voice, we were able to raise more awareness than ever about this critical issue.”
