CITIZEN JOURNALIST SHOW: THE NEED FOR SANITATION IN INDIA

The upcoming episode of CNN-IBN’s weekend show Citizen Journalist is focused on the need for sanitation in India. The show revolves around the unhygienic public toilets in the country and brings forth the plight of physically challenged people due to unavailability of hygienic toilets. Watch the special report on two distinct villages from Haryana, where one village has achieved complete sanitation and the other despite of getting access to mobile phones and television, is still devoid of one single toilet.

The episode will further bring an exclusive report from the United Nation showcasing young women rejecting marriage proposals from households without toilets and insisting on the need to build the same.
