The actress learned of Ryan Wilcox's health battle via a social media campaign on Instagram.com, in a post which detailed his dying wish to meet his favourite superhero stars. A photo of the teenager in his hospital bed has started to go viral, and the accompanying caption reads: "This is Ryan Wilcox, he's an 18 year old guy from San Diego battling cancer and he absolutely LOVES Captain America and the Avengers and what we want for Ryan if possible is to meet the actors and actresses of the Avengers, especially Chris Evans who plays Captain America.
