Huddersfield schools attempt new world record with Sign2Sing, for deaf charity SignHealth

Hundreds of children across Huddersfield and Kirklees have been hitting the right notes forcharity, writes Suzanna Bain.

The pupils were taking part in Sign2Sing, a world record attempt for the most people singing and signing a song on the same day.

Carr Green Primary School in Brighouse, Moldgreen Community Primary School in Moldgreen and Dryclough Infant School in Crosland Moor all took part in yesterday’s event which is organised by deaf charity SignHealth.

The healthcare charity is hoping their efforts will help smash the current world record of 116,980 people taking part.
