Humanity Is Above Everything Else: Ali Zafar

Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar has changed his display picture on his social media accounts in solidarity with the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Lahore. Zafar says that he is "shocked and sad" after the tragic incident, which claimed the lives of several innocent people. "It marks a very sad incident in our history. I am sad beyond words," says the 35-year-old. "Every time an incident like this happens anywhere in the world, a part of humanity dies. We all must realise that we must work together to fight what stands as a threat to not just one generation, not just one country, not just one people, not just one religion but the entire humanity. So we must rise above our difference to pursue a common goal. Which should be to have a world where people from all ethnicities, religion, cast, creed and culture and co-exist in peace and harmony," he appeals.
