As the Chicago Reader reports, the folks behind last year’s Ferris Fest will follow up their 30th anniversary celebration of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with an immersive festival celebrating the entirety of Hughes’ oeuvre. This one isn’t your average film festival — The Shermer Club: A John Hughes Fest will feature film screenings with cast members, a luxury bus tour to filming locations, and, perhaps most notably, a no-holds-barred reenactment of the iconic wedding scene from Sixteen Candles.
