LUNG FORCE is a national movement led by the American Lung Association in partnership with national presenting sponsor CVS Caremark. All proceeds from Jewel’s song, available on iTunes, will benefit LUNG FORCE to further the fight against lung cancer in women. Jewel is lending her voice by creating “Sing On” to help raise awareness of, and hope for, the fight against lung cancer in women. As a singer, Jewel relies on her lungs every day to breathe, speak, laugh and sing. That’s why she’s made it her mission to ensure that all women realize that lung cancer can happen to anyone. Rallying LUNG FORCE Voices “After learning that lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of women in the U.S. I wanted to write a song that would unite women and their loved ones to take much-needed action in the fight against this disease,” said Jewel. “With ‘Sing On’ I want women to know that there is hope and that we are all raising our voices in support of their battle.”
