The three-day festival will focus on short films. The first-ever Laguna Film Festival, a three-day festival dedicated to short films, will be held Oct 16-18, the festival’s organizers have announced. Designed as a showcase for young and emerging filmmakers, the fest was founded by 18-year-old Austin Fickman and reports that its first edition attracted more than 1,000 submissions from 69 countries.
