Malatya Unrolls 6th Film Festival With ‘Black Carpet’ Gala

international film festival on Friday night with a black carpet gala,
honoring the country’s losses in the recent terrorist attacks, news
agencies reported on Saturday. The ceremony kicked off seven days of cinema from both Turkey and abroad in the eastern city. Georgian film director Eldar Shengelaia, one of the guests of honor for the 2015 festival, veteran film historian and writer Agah Özgüç, stage and screen makeup artist Suzan Kardeş, actress Perihan Savaş and actor Serdar Gökhan received the festival’s special honors during the ceremony, the Cihan news agency reported.
