Priyanka Chopra And Kareena Kapoor To Act Together For UNICEFby The Daily Eye Team August 29 2014, 8:47 am Estimated Reading Time: 1 min, 13 secs
Not since Aitraaz have Bollywood divas Priyanka and Kareena shared screen space together. But thanks to UNICEF, that is about to change. Both work very closes with UNICEF – Priyanka is their national ambassador for promoting child rights while Kareena is the UNICEF India celebrity advocate supporting children’s education. There has been a cold war going on between the two for quite a while but looks like they are finally ready to bury the hatchet. The duo will be seen together in a docu-drama for UNICEF which will be presented by PeeCee herself.
A source revealed, “PC and Bebo have been bonding ever since reports surfaced that the two actresses ignored each other at an international awards event earlier this year. It was PC who reached out to Kareena asking her to feature in a documentary film on the girl child and women’s education. Kareena who is right now advocating the right to secondary education for all children, especially girls and women, agreed immediately. And it’s for a good cause so she’s doing it for free. It’s a surprise given their past history, but it proves that these actresses have not only mellowed but matured a lot and are willing to put aside their differences for a good cause. Right now, the modalities and dates are being worked out. A couple of more actresses may be approached as well.”
