Ranbir Kapoor inaugurates International Children's Film Fest in Hyderabad

The seven-day film festival is being organised by the Union Information and Broadcasting ministry, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) and the Andhra Pradesh Government.
Popularly known as the Golden Elephant, the event was inaugurated by ace lyricist-writer-filmmaker Gulzar, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Shravan Kumar, CFSI CEO before the inaugral ceremony.
Gulzar was ecstatic that the festival was back in the city, he also added that he wants the biennial event to be held more frequently and also in other parts of the country.
The activities included classical dance performances by children of different age groups. Differently-abled children also enthralled the audience with their dance moves although most of them took support of wheelchairs.
Around 1.5 lakh children are expected to watch 200 films from across 48 countries during the 7-day festival festival.
