Shahid Kapoor recently flew down to Dubai on Thursday, to promote a popular shirting brand. After Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the ‘Haider’ star is one of the first few stars to be appointed as a brand ambassador for a brand abroad. Shahid, who recently wrapped up shooting for Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’, is currently gearing up for his next ‘Udta Punjab’. The actor will once again be paired opposite Alia Bhatt. Shahid’s former girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan is also a part of this ambitious project. The shirting brand organised a special press conference and meet and greet at a mall, outside their store. Shahid’s loyal fans gathered around a stage (that was specially set up) just to get a glimpse of the star. Shahid is one celebrity who keeps up with the latest trends. He spoke about fashion, films and the movies that keep him ticking at the event. Dressed in a sharp suit and a crisp white shirt, he took to the stage and won many hearts by answering all his fans’ questions. At the event he said, “An actor’s job is to re-invent himself. It you stay with what you’ve done, then you are going to be repeating yourself. One of the most important things as an actor is to constantly change.”
