Shatrughan bonds with youth to spread cancer awareness

The cine star-turned-BJP leader kicked off his party’s campaign to collect iron implements in Patna as part of Narendra Modi’s nationwide campaign for construction of Sardar Patel’s largest statue in Gujarat. But he also took his time off to bond with the youths of his home town to raise awareness about cancer and women’s education.

From shaking a leg with college girls at a farewell party to attending a rock concert organised by the students of IIT- Patna, Sinha has been spreading his social and political message with characteristic élan these days. ” There is a lot of misconception about cancer which causes many deaths across the country,” he said at a programme organised by IIT- Patna in collaboration with the Mahavir Cancer Institute in Patna on Monday.
