Taylor Swift sounded off on feminism in a wide-ranging interview with Maxim, after she was given the No. 1 slot on the 2015 Maxim Hot 100. In the interview, Swift says she started feeling the effects of sexism as she got older, when she was no longer “just seen as a kid.” “Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born,” she said. “So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it’s just basically another word for equality.”
