Director Christopher Nolan cagily denied his Batman film trilogy had a conservative streak.

The trilogy’s take on terrorism and an Occupy Wall Street-styled foe spoke to GOP-friendly audiences all the same.

Nolan’s next feature, a hush-hush project set for a Nov. 2014 release, might disappoint more than a few of his newly acquired conservative fans.
Interstellar, now in production in Alberta, Canada, may revolve around climate change.

The Fort McLeod Gazette, a newspaper near where Nolan’s crew is currently filming, shared this report about the production and movie themes.
Set in the future, the movie details the toll climate change has taken on agriculture, with corn the last crop to be cultivated. The scientists embark on a journey through a worm hole into other dimensions in search of somewhere other crops can be grown.

The crew of the film, which involves the commitment of several studios including Paramount Pictures, haven’t released many details of the story beyond the prospect of humans entering a worm hole in space for mysterious reasons. The Canadian newspaper does not list the source of its plot synopsis.

Breitbart News has reached out to Paramount for comment.
