A far from healthy picture emerges of India when one carefully analyses data on country's health that was released by the
government. While there have been gains in the last 10 years, large gaps remain that need to be plugged if the dream of having a 'Swachh, Swasthya Bharat' has to become a reality soon. A landmark survey released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare presents a somewhat bleak picture of India's health.
