RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh has failed to secure maternal health, besides remaining a laggard in promoting use of contraceptives as an alternative to female sterilization, according MDG India Country Report 2015. Also, high HIV prevalence among youth, pregnant women and adults remain a cause of concern.
