What is a connection?

What is a connection?

In a world full of people, we still manage to relate to the experiences of others on a purely empathic level. Society has somehow distorted our ability to connect and has been arguably designed to do so. And yet we yearn for that human connection, to be understood. It?? what makes us human. What is love, could it be a mutually unconditional understanding of the abstract existence of a person free of all judgement. Is that what it feels like to be truly free? By abstract existence, I?? speaking in context of the soul, excluding anything tangible in proverbial reality. In lieu with emotion, feeling, everything that?? between the lines. But somehow that space has become distorted, and we continue to exist, aware of this yearning to be understood; yet we continue to exist in this almost mechanical, clinical framework. We have jobs, and responsibilities that disconnect us and almost disillusion us away from our naked human selves. We literally serve pieces of green paper. They make us feel like we are what we own, but if we search deep within ourselves; take a while to put experience into perspective we realize that we are what we feel.

Given the chance to have such complex insight into the simples of things and draw that wisdom to better our experience, we are somehow conditioned to ignore this internal human urge by governments to avoid disturbing the establishment. If you think about it, we have been robbed of one of the most basic rights, the right to free culture, the right to no inhibitions, the right to freely interact without judgement. Stereotypes and basis for casting judgement originates from images created by the media and those images superficially associated with individuals. Even though we have our fraternities, our friends and family, we are quintessentially alone spiritually. In this skewed social matrix, it has somehow become inappropriate to stop and have a purely human conversation about anything really??Our spiritual minds are dead.

The curious thing about interaction is that we welcome hostility more than we welcome an intimate conversation. Feeling like every action or word we say is monitored and we are being judged on the basis of that, we have developed deep rooted fears of exposing our fragilities. We are forced to voyage on our inner journeys ourselves, while having to face an outward journey of double standards, bipolarity and self reliance. Being the most advanced race and having the ability to communicate on such an unfathomable level, we are still completely self reliant, creating difficulties in trust and understanding. And the system is such that if there is someone questioning its effect, that person himself is met with judgement and ridicule for addressing anything out of the parameters of the majority?? comfort zone.

To break these barriers, we must not avoid thoughts and feelings, but welcome them. Welcome people who are sincerely concerned enough to guide you, or even travel with you on your own journey into yourself. Because without that, no matter how many possessions or assets you have, you have nothing. Rise above your possessions.
