Actor Vidya Balan, who started her innings in showbiz with television, will be seen on the small screen for an International Women’s Day special

The Hum Paanch (1995) actor, who was recently seen on the big screen in the film Shaadi Ke Side Effects opposite actor Farhan Akhtar, will be seen as the host of a show called No More Kamzor, which will talk of women who have struggled and overcome problems. “The program me that we are doing is for girls of all ages. We started with children and I recited a poem with them. It was just wonderful energy,” says the 36-year-old.Vidya says the stories she came across were truly inspiring.

“All the women who came on the show are examples for all of us. We were inspired by them, some stories didn’t seem real but they actually faced those problems and today they are living life on their own terms,” she says.
