Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says it is a “challenge” to make films that match programmes of international standards which viewers are used to watching on television today. “Viewers in India get to watch international programmes on TV at the same time they are telecast abroad. They say they don’t want to spend a few thousand rupees to watch a film whose standard is not the same. “It has become a challenge to make films of the standard that the viewers are used to seeing and get them to come to the movies,” Bachchan told the media here while promoting his upcoming film ‘Wazir’.
