Bollywood stars support Tata Medical Centre charity fundraiser

The charity, which is committed to raising awareness of women’s cancers and emphasizes the importance of early detection, also provides financial support to women who are unable to afford their treatment. Speaking about the cause at a press conference at the St James Court Hotel, Azmi said: “We have to look at prevention rather than cure and I think the government policy will do a lot in terms of creating awareness through advertisements “We need to do a lot to increase that awareness. Definitely prevention rather than cure is the principle in treatment of all diseases but particularly in cancer.
