Special series on the upcoming Bengaluru Municipal Elections~

New Delhi, 14 August 2015: As the city of Bengaluru gets ready for the upcoming municipal elections, CNN-IBN brings a special series ‘Mission Bengaluru’ from 17th August to 22nd August, 2015 focusing on the civic issues that matter to the citizens and the city.

Through this Bengaluru Special spread across 6 days, CNN-IBN will endeavour to discuss issues such as public transport, roads, garbage, housing, traffic – issues that seem to have stalled somewhat the onward march of what is certainly one of, if not the, India’s premier IT city. It has thus become imperative for the administration and political leadership at all levels to work together in order to address these issues and ensure that Bengaluru once again emerges as a model for others to emulate.

The exclusive programming will comprise of the stories and daily updates from around the city in the newswheel along with a daily half-hour show with extensive on-ground reportage from Bengaluru and the polling day coverage by the channel’s team of anchors, reporters and experts.

Catch the special half-hour show from 17th August to 21st August @ 7PM and coverage of polling on 22nd August, exclusively on CNN-IBN.
