Curtains To Fall On Patna Film Festival Today

PATNA: Intense cold failed to deter cine lovers from thronging the two venues of Patna Film Festival - Regent Cinema and Rabindra Bhawan - in the last six days. The weeklong festival will come to an end on Friday with the performance of noted Indian classical dancer Padma Vibhushan Sonal Mansingh at Rabindra Bhawan. "Over 2,000 people participated in the film festival for which more than 1,500 passes were distributed among various cultural groups and associations," said Ravi Kant Singh, convenor of the festival. The festival saw screening of rich mix of films. Apart from the mainstream movies like Sultan, Bajirao Mastani and Airlift, some offbeat movies, such as Antardwand and Listen Amaya, were also screened.
