The section has been introduced for State/Country Tourism Boards and Country Film Commissions to have a dedicated office at Film Bazaar which will allow them to showcase to attending delegates of the film fraternity, their respective film incentive policies and highlight their destination and location for shooting of films.
Meetings were held for the Tourism Board / Film Commission officials with various film makers like Vishal Bhardwaj, Rohan Sippy, AnuragBasu, AnupamKher and others, during the Film Bazaar.
As film producers and directors are scouting for new and fresh locations for their respective films, Film Office proves to be a great opportunity to meet with the right officials, one-on one, and get information and guidance from the right source.
Anurag Basu, Filmmaker, said, “Film Offices is a great idea. The Film Offices and Film commissions are very specific in what they have to offer. Film Bazaar has given me the next location to shoot my film which is Korea. I will be there in February and hopefully start soon.”
Vishal Bhardwaj, Filmmaker, said, “When we gooutdoor to shoot our film it gets very difficult for us to get in touch with the right person. Hence, Film Officeis a great initiative.”
